How to extract pages from a PDF

Does extracting pages change my original PDF?
No. You download a new PDF containing only the pages you chose; the file on your device is left as it was.
What's the difference between Extract Pages and Split PDF?
Extract Pages puts the pages you choose into one new document. Split PDF turns every page into its own separate file.
How do I select pages?
Click them on the thumbnails, or use the shortcuts to pick all, odd or even pages. You can also type them: separate page numbers with commas and use a hyphen for ranges, so 1, 3, 5-8 extracts pages 1, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Can I change the order of the extracted pages?
Extracted pages always follow the original order. To rearrange them, open the new file in Organize PDF.
How do I extract one chapter of a PDF?
If the chapters are bookmarked, Split by Bookmarks makes a file for every chapter at once. Otherwise list the chapter's pages here, for example 12-25.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Extract Pages runs entirely in your browser: the file is opened and processed on your own device and is never sent to our server. More in the privacy policy.
