Frequently asked questions
Is the text mirrored too?
Yes. Flipping mirrors everything on the page, so text reads backwards, which is what a mirror does. Flip a page twice to get it back.
What happens to links and form fields?
They move to where the flipped page shows them, but they are not mirrored themselves, so a button still reads the right way round.
How is this different from rotating?
Rotating turns the page in quarter turns and keeps it readable. Flipping produces its mirror image. Use Rotate PDF for a page that is on its side.
Is the file uploaded anywhere?
No. The document is flipped in your browser and never sent to a server.
How do I mirror a scanned page or a page saved back to front?
Choose left to right for a page that reads as a mirror image, or top to bottom if it is upside-down and mirrored. If it is only turned on its side, Rotate PDF is the tool. To reorder or delete pages afterwards, use Organize PDF.
