How to reverse the pages of a PDF

Select the document whose pages are in the wrong order, such as a scan fed into the scanner back to front.

Leave the box empty to reverse every page, or type a range such as 3-8 to swap only those pages among themselves and leave the rest where they are.

Frequently asked questions
Can I reverse only some of the pages?
Yes. Type a range such as 3-8 and those pages swap places among themselves while every other page stays where it is. You need to choose at least two pages.
Does reversing change the pages themselves?
No. Only their order changes. Reversed pages are not rotated or mirrored, so if a page itself is upside down use Rotate PDF, and for a mirror image use Flip PDF.
What if I need a custom order rather than a reversed one?
Use Organize PDF to drag pages into any order, and delete or duplicate them as you go. To weave two scans together, such as fronts and backs fed separately, use Alternate & Mix.
Are page numbers renumbered?
Numbers printed on the pages are part of each page, so they move with it. To add fresh numbers afterwards, use Add Page Numbers.
What happens to bookmarks and links?
They keep pointing at the same pages. A bookmark for chapter one still opens chapter one, now near the end of the file.
