Merge PDF

Combine up to 20 PDF files into a single document. Add them in the order you want, merge, and download one tidy PDF — no account and nothing to install.

How to merge PDF files

  1. Add your PDFs

Drag two or more PDF files onto the upload area, or click it to choose them. You can add up to 20 files.

  2. Check the order

Files are combined in the order they are listed, so add them first to last. Remove any file you added by mistake.

  3. Merge

Click Merge PDFs. Every page of every file is copied, in order, into one new document.

  4. Download

Save the merged PDF. Nothing is kept on our side, so download it before you leave the page.

Why merge PDFs with IwillPDF

Pages copied, not re-rendered

Each page goes into the new file as it is, so text stays selectable and images keep their original quality.

Mixed page sizes are fine

Combine A4 reports, US Letter forms and landscape slides — every page keeps its own size and orientation.

Up to 20 files at once

Merge a whole folder of invoices, scans or chapters in one go instead of two files at a time.

Frequently asked questions

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

Up to 20 files per merge. For more, merge them in batches of 20, then merge the results together.

What order are the files merged in?

The order they appear in the list: the first file's pages come first, then the second file's, and so on. To rearrange individual pages afterwards, open the merged file in Organize PDF.

Will merging reduce the quality of my PDF?

No. Pages are copied into the new document rather than re-rendered or recompressed, so the merged file looks exactly like the originals.

Can I merge only some pages of a file?

Merge always takes whole files. Pull the pages you want into their own PDF with Extract Pages first, then merge that file.

Are my files safe? Do you keep them?

Your file travels to our server over an encrypted HTTPS connection, is processed in memory, and comes straight back in the same response. It is never written to disk, nobody reads it, and nothing is kept once the request finishes. More in the privacy policy.

Is Merge PDF free to use?

Yes. Merge PDF is free, with no account to create and no software to install — open the page in a modern browser and start.
