Frequently asked questions
Can I convert PNG to PDF too?
Yes. PNG works exactly like JPG, and the two can be mixed in one PDF, so it works as an image to PDF converter for photos, scans and screenshots. Other image formats, such as HEIC or WebP, need converting to JPG or PNG first.
Will my images lose quality?
No. JPG files are embedded without being re-encoded, and PNG files are stored losslessly.
How many images can I put in one PDF?
Up to 20 per conversion. For a longer document, convert in batches and join the PDFs with Merge PDF.
What size are the PDF pages?
Each page matches the dimensions of the image on it, so a landscape photo gives a landscape page.
Can I make every page the same size, such as A4?
Each page takes the size of its picture. To put them all on one sheet size, run the result through Resize PDF, which scales each page to fit A4, Letter or a custom size.
Can I get the pictures out of a PDF again?
Yes. Extract Images saves the pictures embedded in a PDF at their original quality, and PDF to JPG saves whole pages as images.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. JPG to PDF runs entirely in your browser: the file is opened and processed on your own device and is never sent to our server. More in the privacy policy.
