Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of IwillPDF at https://iwillpdf.com ("the Service"), operated by Joel Thomas, an independent developer based in India ("we", "us").

By using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.

They work alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what happens to the files you upload.

The Service provides online tools for working with PDF files — merging, splitting, extracting and removing pages, reordering, rotating, adding page numbers and watermarks, converting images to PDF, and editing.

It is provided free of charge, without an account, and without any commitment to availability. We may add, change, suspend or remove any tool at any time.

The Service processes files and returns them. It does not store your files, which means it is a tool, not a backup or a document archive — keep your own copies.

You keep every right you have in the files you upload. We claim no ownership of them and acquire no licence to them beyond what is technically required to perform the operation you asked for and return the result.

By uploading a file you confirm that:

• you own it or otherwise have the right to process it, including any personal data it contains;
• processing it here does not infringe anyone's copyright, privacy or other rights; and
• it does not contain malware or anything designed to damage or disrupt the Service.

Because we do not retain your files, you are solely responsible for keeping the original and for checking the result before you rely on it.

Use the Service for lawful purposes only. You must not:

• use it to produce, alter or distribute anything unlawful, including forged, fraudulent or misleading documents;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its servers, or its administrative areas;
• scrape, resell or repackage the Service, or place unreasonable automated load on it;
• circumvent any limit on file size, request rate or usage; or
• interfere with the security, integrity or performance of the Service for other users.

We may block access from any source that does these things, without notice.

IwillPDF is free to use because it carries advertising supplied by Google AdSense. Ads are clearly separated from the tools, and we do not endorse the products or services they promote.

Any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and them. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for it.

You may not interfere with how ads are served or displayed — including automating clicks, generating artificial impressions, or encouraging others to do so. Doing this puts our advertising account at risk and is grounds for blocking your access.

How advertising cookies work is set out in our Privacy Policy.

The IwillPDF name, the site design, its text and its underlying software belong to Joel Thomas or to the relevant third-party licensors. Using the Service does not transfer any of that to you.

You may use the output of the tools — your own processed documents — however you like.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a processed file will be free of defects. PDF processing can lose formatting, fonts or metadata in edge cases. Always check the result before relying on it, and never destroy your only copy of a document.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, documents, profits, revenue or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Because the Service is free, any liability we do have is limited to the amount you have paid to use it, which is nothing.

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or expense arising from your misuse of the Service or from a file you processed that you did not have the right to process.

We may update these terms as the Service changes. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

We may suspend or withdraw the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. Since there is no account and nothing stored, you can stop using it whenever you like with nothing to cancel.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising out of them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country.

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
